Celebration
Erica Guyer, daughter of
Cheryl and Dan Guyer, will
twin the observance of her
bat mitzvah celebration at
Adat Shalom Synagogue
Saturday with Alla Shta-
ingaus, daughter of Anna and
Mikhail Shtaingaus of Lvov,
USSR.
In 1978, the Shtaingaus
family applied for repatria-
tion to Israel. They have been
refused 15 times in the past
10 years. The reason given for
the refusal has been insuffi-
cient kinship although Ana's
great-aunt and great-
grandfather live in Israel.
Erica has written to Alla
and she will attempt to reach
the family by phone.
