Endowment Changes
At Akiva Day School

New developments in the
Akiva Hebrew Day School
Endowment Program were
announced by Michael Green-
baum, Yeshivat Akiva
president.
In memory of their late
father, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Schon have established the
Isadore Schon Memorial
Fund.
The former Seymour and
Sonia Ribiat Fund has been
renamed the Seymour S.
Ribiat Memorial Fund by
Mrs. Sonia Ribiat in memory
of her husband, a Yeshivat
Akiva founder.
The Akiva Endowment Pro-
gram was established in 1986
to ensure perpetual support
for the school.
Along with the Schon and
Ribiat funds, the endowment

also includes: the Akiva
General Scholarship Fund,
Isadore and Freda Ap-
plebaum Memorial Fund,
David I. Berris Scholarship
