Monday night classes in its
Judai-College series: "Jewish
Heritage," taught from 7:30
p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and "Jewish
Rituals," from 8:45 to 9:45
p.m. There will be a refresh-
ment period between two
classes. Classes will run from
Oct. 31-Dec. 19.

Nisim, the son of Rabo and

this year, but since it is forbid-
den by Soviet law for anyone
under 16 to take part in a

religious ceremony he has
been denied his right to be a
bar mitzvah. Although the
family has a relative living in
Israel, they have been denied
an exit visa on the grounds of
"army service."

Moscow. Zaslaysky applied for
an exit visa in 1979 and has
been refused an exit visa ever
since.
Gennifer Bertin, daughter
of Kenneth and Linda Bertin,
twinned her bat mitzvah with
Alla Shtaingaus of Lvov last
week at Temple Beth El. Alla
is the daughter of Mikhail
and Anna Shtaingaus. They
have applied for an exit visa
in 1978 and have been refus-
ed permission to leave the
Soviet Union since then.
