Maccabees Mutual Life In-
surance Co. is accepting en-
tries for its fifth annual Quest
For Exellence scholarship
competition for young
classical musicians.
The announcement of the
nationwide musical talent
search was made by Maurice
A. Betman, general agent in
Southfield for Maccabees
Mutual.
The $10,000 scholarship
competition is open to all non-
professional instrumental
musicians, ages 15-22, living
in the United States and
Canada.
Musicians interested in
entering the competition
must send an audition tape
with selections from an of-
ficial qualifying repertoire,
along with a contest applica-
tion, to Maccabees Mutual
Life Insurance Company. The
deadline to submit applica-
tions and audition tapes is
Aug. 1.
