The announcement of the nationwide musical talent search was made by Maurice A. Betman, general agent in Southfield for Maccabees Mutual. The $10,000 scholarship competition is open to all non- professional instrumental musicians, ages 15-22, living in the United States and Canada. Musicians interested in entering the competition must send an audition tape with selections from an of- ficial qualifying repertoire, along with a contest applica- tion, to Maccabees Mutual Life Insurance Company.
