Na'amat Plans
Special Lunch

Na'amat USA, Greater
Detroit Council, will hold its
Spiritual Adoption Luncheon
on Aug. 4 at noon at the
Southfield Hilton Hotel.
The event is held annually
on behalf of Israel's disadvan-
taged children. These are
children ranging from infan-
cy to school age who have
been the victims of family
breakdown: parents suffering
from mental or physical il-
lness, delinquency, poverty;
motherless and fatherless
homes. For more than 60
years Na'amat has provided a
family-like environment to
children from disrupted
homes in three day/night
homes in Tel Aviv, Hadera
and Rehovot.
Ruth L. Miller, spiritual
adoption chairman, has ap-
pointed the following commit-
tee: Evelyn Noveck, program;
Alice Ross and Ann Kaplan,
reservations; Margaret
Bialkin, decorations. An-
thems will be led by Elaine
Kohner, accompanied by Son-
ny Lipenholtz. Belle Glenner
Schwartz is Council
president.
There is a minimum con-
tribution required to attend.
Resevations may be made by
calling the Na'amat Council
office, 967-4750.
