were recently memorialized
with the purchase of a grove
of 1,000 Trees by their
daughters, Madeline and Vi-
vian, through the Jewish Na-
tional Fund.
The grove will be a
perpetual memorial to the
Belkins and will be located in
the American Independence
Park outside the city of
Jerusalem.

Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit. Maddin
has worked actively on the
board of the Center since
1976. He has also served on
the boards of Jewish Voca-
tional Service, the Holocaust
Memorial Center and Sinai
Hospital of Detroit.
Sidney Freedland was in-
stalled as chairman of the ex-
ecutive committee. Vice
presidents of the agency are:
