Shavuot, the Feast of
Weeks, will begin at sundown
Saturday. The congregations
in the Detroit area

which recalls the giving of the
Torah at Mount Sinai,

Adat Shalom Synagogue:
Services Saturday at 8:45
a.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.
when adult bat mitzvah will
take place. Services Sunday
at 6 p.m. and Monday at 9
a.m. when confirmation will
take place and Yizkor will be
recited. Services Monday at 9
p.m. Rabbis Efry G. Spectre
and Elliot Pachter will of-
ficiate and Cantor Larry
Vieder will chant the liturgy.
Cong. Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses: Services Satur-
day at 8:45 p.m., followed by
an ice cream social. Services
Sunday 8:45 a.m. when
1987-1988 b'nai mitzvah will
be honored. Services Sunday
