(JVS) will offer a series of
employment skills seminars
for professional and manage-
ment level job seekers.
The three seminars, entitl-
ed Resume Writing, Inter-
viewing Skills and Job
Search, will examine current
employment trends, network-
ing and the "hidden job
market," how to write
resumes with appropriate in-
formation, identifying
transferable skills and the
elements of the job interview.
They are open to the public
at a fee. A sliding scale fee
schedule is available upon re-
quest. To register, call JVS,

Special Music
Class Offered

The Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan
Detroit, Maple/Drake, will
present "Music — Special
Music for Special People," a
creative music experience for
learning disabled children on
Tuesdays by appointment.
The instructor, Lisa
Barnett, is a registered and
board certified music
therapist and will give
specialized instruction on
piano, guitar, autoharp,
recorder and voice.
Admittance is by interview
with the instructor. There is
a fee, and the program is open
to the public. For information,
