degree in economics at
George Mason University in
Fairfax, Va., and is employed

Steve earned his bachelor's
degree in economics and
philosophy at the University
of Michigan and a master's
degree in economics at
George Mason. He is com-
pleting his Ph.D. degree in
economics at George Mason,
where he will be acting assis-
tant professor of economics in
the fall.
A September wedding is

The Oakland County
Health Division will offer a
series of six blood pressure
control classes at 7 p.m.
Tuesdays at the Oakland
County Health Division's
south office, 27725 Green-
field, Southfield, beginning
Tuesday. All classes are free
but pre-registration is
required.
The division will offer a
series of six expectant parent
classes beginning May 17 in
the Southfield office of the
health division.
A series of six diabetes
classes will be held on
Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the
health division's south office,
beginning May 19. To
register, call the health divi-
