Breast Cancer
Discussion

The Institute for Women's
Medicine Community Educa-
tion Program will discuss
breast cancer on Wednesday.
Hutzel Hospital's Chief of
Surgery, Dr. J.C. Rosenberg,
will speak on "What Is This
Thing Called Breast
Cancer?"
The program will be hald at
5:30 p.m. at the Hutzel Profes-
sional Building, 4727 St. An-
toine, Detroit. Free parking
and refreshments will be
provided.

Windsor UJA
Holds Dinner

The women's division of the
United Jewish Apeal of Wind-
sor presents its fund-raising
event, "A Sentimental
Journey," on April 12, 6 p.m.
at the Windsor Jewish Com-
munity Centre, 1641
Ouellette Avenue.

The evening begins with
dinner, followed by a
retrospective of music and
fashion over the last 40 years.
The commentary will high-
light the achievements of
Israel, the UJA of Windsor
and Jewish women over the
last four decades.
The guest speaker is Cecille
Raichlen of Detroit. Born in
Toronto, Mrs. Raichlen receiv-
ed her doctorate in
psychology from the Univer-
sity of Toronto. Mrs. Raichlen
was the founding member of
the Business and Professional
Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation of
Detroit.

Spring Fantasy
Program Nears

Spring Fantasy '88 will be
held April 12 in Shiffman
Hall of the Maple/Drake
Jewish Community Center.
Prior to the luncheon and
fashion shows, guests will
have the opportunity to
browse through the dozens of
boutiques that fill the entire
main lobby of the Jewish
Community Center. The
boutiques will be open from
9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Chairing this year's Spring
Fantasy are Carol Brown and
Carol Eisenshtadt. Boutique
chairmen are Marcy Kass and
Marci Zeman of the Women's
Health Club.
Everyone is invited. Lunch-
eon reservations are due by
April 6. There is a fee.

City Of Hope
Meets Monday

The City of Hope Helen
Rosenberg Cancer Fighters
will hold their general
meeting at the Colony Park
