Model Seder
At JPM JCC
The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center announces the
senior adults will work with
the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Building nursery school
children to prepare for a
model seder at the annual
Passover workshop a 10 a.m.
Tuesday in Rooms 5 and 6.
Cantor Samuel Greenbaum of
Cong. Beth Shalom will con-
duct the model seder, assisted
by the children, at 11 a.m. in
the JPM assembly hall.
Herman Chapin, Detroit
Symphony Orchestra docent,
will discuss Jewish composers
of operas at 1 p.m. Tuesday in
the JPM assembly hall.
The third part of the movie,
Strike Up The Band, will be
shown in the JPM assembly
hall immediately following
the lecture.
A games day will be con-
ducted by Sophia Hoffman
and Sadie Gold at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday in the JPM atrium.
Prizes will be awarded, and
refreshments served. There is
a nominal charge.
The Book Fair Video, "Vic-
tims and Neighbors", will be
shown in the JPM lobby at
10 a.m. Thursday.
Molly Sallen, vocalist, will
entertain at the Yiddish
Culture Club at 12:45 p.m.
Thursday in Jaffe Hall of the
JPM.

Focus Of Series
The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-

Drake announces that
Sharon Schwartz will present
another program in her con-
tinuing series entitled, "The
Contemporary Israeli Writer"
at 1 p.m. Monday in the
Henry and Delia Meyers
Memorial Library.
This Series focuses on
various Israeli writers in-
cluding Amos Oz, A.B.
Yehoshua and Yehuda
Amichai.

Detroiter Speaks
In Israel
Dr. Robert Lisak, chief of
neurology at Harper-Grace
Hospitals, has been invited by
the Hadassah Medical School
of Hebrew University in
Jerusalem to speak at the
department of neurology's
50th anniversary symposium,
May 9-11 in Jerusalem.
Dr. Lisak will be speaking
on inflammatory muscle
diseases He is the only in-
vited speaker from Michigan
and one of two experts from
the Midwest region.
UHS Seder
The United Hebrew Schools
learning disabled groups,
developmentally disabled
class and adult developmen-
tally disabled study group
will conduct a Passover Seder
Sunday. The Seder is open to

home respite program for
families who have a member
afflicted with Alzheimer's
Disease or another irreversi-
