bride is a research associate

the bridegroom is an
associate at Grace-Mayer In-
surance Agency, Inc.

Girl Scouts are selling
cookies now through March
20. (The cookies are kosher
and bear the OU certification
emblem.) This cookie sale
generates more than 50 per-
cent of the Girl Scout annual
operating budget.
Cookie money helps send
girls to U.S. Space Camp and
other travel opportunities,
supports camp maintenance
and program, provides fun-
ding for local troop projects,
provides leadership training
and materials for adult
volunteers, and supports con-
temporary programs like lat-
chkey activities, self-
awareness and decision-
making skills, science/tech-
nology activities, and
awareness programs about
self, others and the communi-

Perspective
Nabeel Avraham will speak
on "The Palestinian Perspec-
tive," 8:30 p.m. Monday at the
Birmingham Temple. He is a
professor of anthropology at
Henry Ford Community
College-Dearborn and a
member of the board of direc-
tors of the American-Arab
Anti-Discrimination
Committee.
