Passover Fund
Helps Needy

Shirley Robbins, secretary
of Moies Chetim of Detroit,
announced that the group
will again distribute Passover
matza and wine to more than
five hundred low-income
Jewish families in metro
Detroit.
Moies Chetim is a non-
profit organization that has
operated in Detroit since
1922. All financial support
comes from individuals, and
all help is volunteered. In ad-
dition to Ms. Robbins, officers
include Morris Gould, Levi
Smith, Dale Kaplan and Ann
Kaplan.

Cong. Beth Shalom will
have its third annual Las
Vegas night at 8:30 p.m.
March 12 in the synagogue.
Las Vegas-style games will
be played for cash prizes. In-
dividual winnings are limited
to $500. With admission, each
guest will receive $3 in game
chips. Proceds will benefit the
synagogue.
Refreshments will be
available at a nominal fee.
The public is invited.
