Maple/Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center. The talk is
sponsored by New Jewish
Agenda. There is a fee.
A discussion of the recent
events in Gaza and the West
Bank will follow.
A native of Detroit, Simons
attended the University of
Michigan. He has worked in
advertising and broadcasting
and as a radio reporter in
Europe in the early 1950s. He
is on the board of directors of
Michigan Coalition for
Human Rights, the advisory
board of the Center for Peace
and Conflict Studies at
Wayne State University, and
chairs the development com-
mittee of Michigan Interfaith
Committee on Central
American Human Rights.
His memberships include
the ACLU, New Jewish Agen-
da, Witness for Peace, and the
Peace and Justice Coalition of
Southeast Michigan.
