ROSE ZEMAN, 100, died
Dec. 29. She leaves three

Schlaff; five grandchildren
and seven great-grand-

Eugene White
Eugene P. (Bud) White,
founder and owner of Campus
Discount and White Advertis-
ing, Inc., died Dec. 23 at age
68.
A native Detroiter, Mr.
White was a former member
of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, past
president of B'nai B'rith, a
member of the Jewish War
Veterans and a World War II
veteran, having served in the
U.S. Air Force. He resided in
East Lansing at the time of
his death.
Mr. White leaves his wife,
Betty; three sons, Glenn of
Haslett, Gary of Arizona and
Charles of Lansing; a
daughter, Kathy of Haslett; a
brother, Ernest "Ernie" of
West Bloomfield; and four
grandchildren. Interment
Lansing.
Fannie Becher
Retail shoe executive Fan-
nie Becher died Dec. 29 at age
91.
Born in Russia, Mrs. Becher
lived 65 years in Detroit. She
was a member of Hadassah
and a life member of Cong.
Shaarey Zedek.
She leaves two sons, Sher-
man Becker and Lester
Becker of La Jolla, Calif.; a
daughter, Sylvia Gallant; ten
grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
