MAIL DEPT. ... "I just
got through reading your
statements concerning Sut-
ton Deli. I'm glad Pat is doing
well but you should know
some facts. First, 90 percent
of the improvements and
cleaning were done in
January of '86 while we still
owned the deli. 'The carpet
and walls were done at that
time. Also, when we sold last
January, we had just com-
pleted our most profitable
year. We're thrilled that Pat,
who we consider family, has
bought the deli from the
Miris. It is unfortunate that
we sold, but because of San-
dy's health it was necessary
at the time. I'm glad you are
giving the deli some atten-
tion. When we were the
owners, we were never includ-
ed in the rest of the deli com-
munity. Even without the at-
tention we were the longest
single owner full-service deli
in Southfield so we must have
done something right. I hope
you will remember that also."
