Bonds Women
Have Art Tour
The Metro Detroit Israel
Bonds Women's Division will
hold its fifth annual art and
home tour on Oct. 13, from
9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., it was
announced by Barbara
Stollman, division chairman.
The event is geared toward
the enrollment of women in
the Women's Division Spon-
sor Societies through their
purchases of State of Israel
securities in the amount of
$1,500 or more. Also eligible
to attend are all women who
have made earlier purchases
of a like amount during 1987.
The tour will begin in the
home of Janet and Arnold
Aronoff; special buses will
transport the guests to visit
the homes of Claire and
Robert J. Chambers; and
Marianne and Alan E.
Schwartz. Returning to the
Aronoff home, luncheon will
be served and 1987 sponsor
pins, designed exclusively for
the Israel Bond Women's
Division by Yaacov Heller,
renowned Israeli artist, will
be presented to all eligible
sponsor members.
Chairing the event is Myr-
na Partrich; associate chair-
man is Elaine Sabbota.

Jewish Agenda
Meeting Due
Dr. David Linder, father of
Ben Linder, who was killed by
the contras in Nicaragua last
April, will address a gather-
ing of interested citizens at
the Southfield Civic Center,
26000 Evergreen, on Thurs-
day at 7:30 p.m. The gather-
ing will take place in Room
115 of the Parks and Recrea-
tion Building.
It will be under the
auspices of the Metropolitan
Detroit New Jewish Agenda,
the Detroit Central America
Solidarity Committee and the
Michigan Interfaith Commit-
tee on Central American
Human Rights.
Dr. Linder is on a national
speaking tour to promote the
Ben Linder Memorial Fund.
At the time of Ben's death, he
was working on a hydroelec-
tric project to irrigate fields
and improve the yield helping
the subsistent farmers of nor-
thern Nicaragua.
Rabbi Ernst J. Conrad will
preside. Rosann Diamond is
co-ordinator of the event. A
nominal fee will be charged.
