Women Plan
For Donor Event

Mrs. Harry Hochman, co-
president of the David-
Horodoker Women's
Organization, announces that
final plans have been made
for the 50th annual donor
luncheon to be held noon Oct.
27 at the Cong. Beth Achim
Social Hall. - --
Mrs. Bernard Chase is
chairman of the day; Mrs.
Bernard Gorosh will give the
invocation. Bess Axelrod will
sing the anthems, accom-
panied by Vivian Stollman.
Alice Blumberg will
entertain.
Proceeds will benefit the
needy here and in Israel. The
women's organization is
allied with the Co-operative
Council of the League of
Jewish Women in planning a
Chanukah party and Seder
for mentally impaired clients.
Mo'os Chitim, Penrickton
Center for the Blind,
Muscular Dystrophy, Kadima
and many others also benefit
from the group's activities.
In Israel, Magen David
Adorn, Alyn Rehabilitation
Center, four orphans homes,
Association for the Welfare of
Jewish Soldiers and a scholar-
ship fund all benefit from the
women's donor.

The next meeting will be
held noon Tuesday at the
MCL Restaurant, Southfield.

Infants - Service
Marks 56th

The Infants Service Group
will celebrate its 56th year
and hold its donor luncheon
on Oct. 21 at, noon at
Knollwood Country Club.
Eleanor Riseman and her
assistant, Evelyn Roth, will
again chair the event.
There will be entertain-
ment and a fashion 'show coor-
dinated by Leah Marks.

Seminar Set

"Goodbye Superwoman,
Hello Myself' is the title of a
one-day seminar presented by
the Oakland University Con-
tinuum Center on Oct. 22 at
9 a.m. The seminar will be
held at Meadow Brook Hall
on the Oakland campus in
Rochester.
The public is invited to
register by calling the Con-
tinuum Center, 370-3033.
Registration includes lunch.
