In Stanley's mind, the corn-
edians who are "real good at it"
are Sam Kinison, Rick Over-
ton, Bob Nelson and David Let-
terman. Stanley admits he
likes the lesser-knowns rather
than the big names.
In his spare time, Stanley
plays guitar, writes music and
sings. This summer, he will
record his first record album of
what he calls "contemporary
music." He also works out and
pitches in two softball leagues.
"I'll play softball till I'm 100,"
he jokes.
He's hopeful that Sunday's
8 p.m. program, sponsored by
the Community Network for
Jewish Singles, will draw a
large crowd. "If it's tied into the
singles, I think we'll get a big
turnout, because now all the
singles that can't dance can
show up."
On the serious side, he said
he's hoping for a big turnout
just because the comedians are
so good. "I think if anybody's
into comedy, I'd show up
because it's a great show." ❑
