Reform Join For Dinner
Thursday At Emanu-EI

All six local Reform congrega-
tions will participate in the an-
nual dinner on behalf of the
Fund for Reform Judaism,
which takes place at 6 p.m.
Thursday at Temple Emanu-El
in Oak Park.
James E. Fuller, • past presi-
dent of Temple Kol Ami and of
the Metropolitan Detroit
Federation of Reform
Synagogues, serves as dinner
chairman.
The dinner will pay tribute to
seven leaders of the local
Reform movement.
Funds raised go to the camp-
ing program of the Union of
America Hebrew Congrega-
tions, which last year served m
ore than 40, 000 people of
elementary and high school
age. The FRJ also allows the
movement to send more of its
young people to Israel than any
other youth movement.
Dinner proceeds provide for
expansion of Reform's program
of outreach to converts and non-
Jewish spouses; support social
action through the Religious

Action Center in Washington,
D.C.; save the lives of Jewish
children through a Task Force
on Suicide; and promote the
struggle for religious pluralism
