Two To Twin
Their B'not Mitzvah

Mara Leichtman, daughter
of Dr. David and Gail
Leichtman, and Elana
Nachman, daughter of Allan
and Joy Nachman, will share
their b'not mitzvah celebra-
tion in absentia with Dina
Lukatskaya, daughter of
Aleksandr and Evgenia
Lukatsky of Moscow, 9 a.m.
Saturday at Cong. Adat
Shalom. Dina was able to
celebrate her bat mitzvah
with her family in the fall of
1986 in Moscow.
Lukatsky is an engineer. In
July 1976 he applied for an
exit visa to Israel, but was
denied permission to emi-

service, which was completed
in May 1970. Lukatsky was
able to obtain an affidavit
that during his army service
he was not exposed to any
classified information. Never-
theless, he was still refused -
permission. Dina's father was
fired from his job and now
works as a driver to support
his family.
Letters may be sent to the
family at: Ul. Sushevsky
Val., 13/1/145, Moscow
127018, RSFSR, USSR.
