present a program of Jewish
music in both Hebrew and Yid-
dish. They sing songs of
modern-day Israel and play the
melodies of her folk dances.
They also draw on their Euro-
pean upbringing steeped in the
rich variety of Jewish music.

"bowlathon for tzedaka" on
Sunday. Students have found
sponsors who pledge certain
amounts per point bowled.
Monies collected will be

United States and Israel. The
activity culminates a month-
long unit on tzedakah.
