Ms. Kovacs and her fiance,
both residents of Washington,
D.C., are planning an August

homemaker program, funded
by the Michigan Department
of Labor, Office of Women
and Work, for individuals in
Wayne and Oakland Coun-
ties. _

Displaced
Homemaker Program pro-
vides vocational assessment,
vocational counseling, job
seeking skills and job place-
ment assistance. Women who
need to become financially
self-sufficient, who need a
boost towards entering the
job market after many years
in the home, are invited to

will take place at the JVS
