Michigan Region Women's
American ORT will sponsor a
tribute reception on behalf of
State of Israel Bonds in the
Bloomfield Hills home of Dr.
Arthur and Rochelle Lieber-
man, 7:30 p.m. May 28.
Honored at the event will
be Ann Grace Burstein of
Southfield, who has served as
president of the organiza-
tion's Balmoral Chapter for
more than 15 years.
Burstein (nee Beitman), a
native Detroiter, has served
as past president of Infants
Service Group; vice president
of the League of Jewish
Women, chairman of the
League's Cooperative Coun-
cil; and cooperative council
liaison officer to the Jewish
Family Service.
She is past vice president
of education, University East
Chapter of Hadassah; and
was Knollwood Country Club
women's chairman.
Burstein is a life member
of Hadassah, Jewish Home
for the Aged, Sinai Hospital
Guild, Friends of Bar-Ilan
University and Cong.
Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood.
At the ORT reception,
Burstein will be presented
with the State of Israel's Lion
of Judah Award. Reception
chairman is Yetta Wolfe. All
ORT members are invited to
participate. For reservations,
