Women's Health
Expo At Cobo
The Michigan Woman
Health Expo will take place
May 15 and 16 at Cobo Hall.
The two-day exposition will
be held to educate women
about the health care re-
sources available to them.
Special guests speakers
will be nationally known
sexuality expert Dr. Ruth
Westheimer, Dr. Mathilde
Krim and Mary Hart, hostess
of TV's Entertainment To-
night.
Other speakers are: Joan
Israel, Dr. Joel Saper, Tim
Brolus, Drs. Stanley Halprin
and James Switzer, Lisa Cur-
tis, Dr. E.J. Kozora, Ivy Ar-
lock Schwartz, Mira Linder,
Linda Solomon, Jackie _Gre-
kin, Phyllis Mazure, Dr. B.
John Shadroui and Dani Au-
stin.
A panel on "People in High
Places" and two fashion
shows will round out the
expo.

Second nomination and elec-
tion of officers will be held.
The newly elected officers
will then be installed by Past
Department President Diana
Joffe.
Poppy Chairman Anne
Weinstein will distribute
poppies and canisters.
The Department Conven-
tion to be held in June will
be discussed, and delegates
will be elected. Final plans
will be presented for the cel-
ebration of the 40th anniver-
sary of the auxiliary and
post.
Poppy Day
Sale Approaches
Department of Michigan
and Ladies Auxiliary, Jewish
war veterans, will sell pop-
pies May 14 and 15 on street
corners throughout the com-
munity.
Funds raised by the poppy
sale will benefit hospitalized
veterans, provide schol-
arships to children or
grandchildren of veterans,
aid senior citizens and needy
children, and help keep the
Americanism program of the
JWV ongoing.
