Marjorie Saulson, president
of Michigan Branch of
Women's League for Conser-
vative Judaism, announces
that delegates from 13 Con-
servative sisterhoods will
convene at Cong. of Moses,
Kalamazoo, on May 17-18.
Judy Davis is President of
the hostess sisterhood. The
theme for the conference is
"For Everything There Is A
Season And A Time."
Conference Chairman
Charlotte Nussbaum reports
that educational programs
are being planned covering
all facets of sisterhood activi-
ties.
National Consultant from
Women's League will be Lil-
lian (Billie) Rubinoff, an at-
torney from Philadelphia,
Pa., who has had a long-time
involvement of service to the
Conservative movement and
the Jewish Theological Semi-
nary.
She has been national
chairman of Torah Fund-
Residence Halls; wills and
bequests; parliamentary pro-
cedure; and is currently
long-range planning national
chairman. Ms. Rubinoff will

installation meeting at 12:15
p.m. Thursday at Cong. B'nai
Moshe.
Officers to be installed with
her are: Charlotte Edelheit,
Irene Rodman, Jeannie
Weiner, Annette Meskin,
Charlotte Nussbaum, vice
presidents; Lillian Nacmani,
treasurer; Ruth Yost, finan-
cial secretary; Marilyn Mer-
dler, recording secretary;
Michelle Harris, correspond-
ing secretary; Gertrude
Brainiri and Ruth Kimmel,
mailing secretaries.
Nikolai and Ludmila Lum-
berg, Russian Jews who are
making their home in De-
troit, will entertain. A profes-
sional flutist, Lemberg was
graduated from the Moscow
State Conservatory. While in
Russia, he was the principal
flutist for the Moscow Opera
Orchestra and the Moscow
Radio and Television Sym-
phony Orchestra.
Mrs. Lemberg played piano
with the Moscow Philhar-
monic Orchestra. Te Lem-
bergs have organized a
classical music school in the
Detroit area.
