Dr. Todd M. Endelman, pr-
ofessor of history at the Uni-
versity of Michigan, will de-
liver the second lecture at the
B'nai David Cultural Forum
at 11 a.m. March 22 at B'nai
David.
He will speak on "The
Jewish Communities of
Western Europe: Do They
Have a Future?"
Dr. Endelman was edu-
cated at the University of
California, Berkeley; War-
wick University, Coventry,
England; the Hebrew
Union-College Jewish Insti-
tute of Religion, Los Angeles;
and Harvard University,
where he received his Ph.D.
degree.
From 1976 to 1979, he
served as assistant professor
of Jewish history in the Ber-
nard Revel Graduate School
of Yeshiva University in New
York City, and from 1979 to
1985 as associate professor of
history and Jewish studies at
Indiana University,
Bloomington.
He is the author of The
