Center, Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch will offer physical edu-
cation gift certificates, March
15-20. The certificates are good
for a variety of classes for chil-
dren, teens and adults. There is
a charge. For information, call
Ada Bandalene or Linda Le-

Class Registration
Begins At Center

Registration is open for the
Jewish Community Center's
ten-week Spring Semester
which begins the week of
March 1.
Classes are open to the pub-
lic and will hold at both center
branches.
Classes include: Dance: Tap;
Jazz; Ballet, beginning and in-
termediate levels, for children
and adults. Art: "Space Art,"
"Dinosaurs and Dragons,"
Youth Pottery, Cartooning,
"Making Many Things,"
Sculpture, Drawing and Cal-
ligraphy.
Music: Suzuki and tradi-
tional lessons in piano and vio-
lin will be taught on Sundays,
Tuesdays and Thursdays, sub-
ject to enrollment. Also: Com-
puters, Bridge, Israeli
folkdance, Photography, Gal-
lery and Museum Tours and
Rock Guitar.

Cholesterol Is Topic
Of Health Seminar

"Cholesterol, Fat and Your
Health" will be presented, 7
p.m. Tuesday in the Southfield
Civic Center's City Council
Chambers, 26000 Evergreen.
The seminar will feature Dr.
Fidika E. Kasim, director of
lipid metabolism at Harper-
Grace Hospitals and dietician
Cindy Gutowski. The two will
explain why cholesterol and
other facts are risk factors for
heart disease and cancer.
There is no charge.
