Friends of Israel. Why do they
insist on calling themselves
Zionists when they're not plac-
ing aliyah at the head of their
agenda?
"American Jews need Is-
rael," he concluded. "It is not
an act of altruism that Ameri-

would have no way to express
their Jewishness without Is-
rael."

Emigration
Sentiment
Up In Israel

Tel Aviv (JTA) — Nine per-
cent of Israelis were consider-
ing emigration in 1986, a 70 - .
percent increase in less than
three years, according to a re-
view in Haaretz Tuesday of a
series of polls taken by the Pori
organization.
In 1983, 5.3 percent of those
questioned by the pollsters
said they were contemplating
emigration. In 1984 the
number grew to 6.1 percent
and was 7.7 percent in August
1985. Last month, nine percent
said they would "probably" or
"certainly" emigrate, the re-
port said.
It also found the number of
Israelis who justify emigration
to have increased signific-
antly. In 1984 it was 14.6 per-
cent. In March 1985 the
number was 17.1 percent and
by August 1985 it was up to
20.3 percent.
In 1986, 57 percent of the re-
spondents said they agreed or
tended to agree with the
statement that emigrants do
not betray their homeland.

Heir Urges ,U.S.
To Deport
Ex-Nazi

- Washington (JTA) — Rab-
bi Marvin. Heir, dean of the
Simon Wiesenthal Center,
last week criticized the U.S.
Justice Department for fail-
ing to deport Karl Linnas, a
convicted Nazi war criminal,
to the Soviet Union."
"There is no reason for Karl
Linnas, a man charged with
horrific crimes, to spend an
additional free day in the
United States," Hier said at a
press conference here.
The press conference was
held after the Los Angeles-
based Center presented a list
of 74 suspected Nazi war
criminals living in the U.S. to
Neal Sher, director of the -
Justice Department's Office
of Special Investigation (OSI)
which investigates and pro-
secutes Nazi war criminals
who illegally immigrated to
the U.S. after World War II.

Chiropractic Health Hints

WITH DR. STANLEY LEVINE, D.C.

STOP THOSE
MIGRAINE HEADACHES

Migraine is the most painful form of
headache. Yet, despite the suffering it
causes, migraine is actually a symptom
Dr. Stanley Levine rather than an illness or disease in it-
self. It is nature's way of warning us that something is
wrong within the body.

Impervious to scratches.
• Enduring beauty and always-new looking.

Baume & Mercier has created these ultra-thin quartz watches
for discriminating men and women. The case and integral
bracelet combine the luxury of 18K gold with the highly
polished lustre of super-hard, scratch-resistant tungsten car-
bide. Water-resistant to 99-feet, they are unique in jewelry
watch design and space-age technology.

In many cases it has been found that the migraine
victim was also suffering from nerve pressure due to a
spinal misalignment. When the spinal misalignment
was corrected by a Doctor of Chiropractic, the nerve
pressure was relieved and the migraines disappeared.

Chiropractic seeks to eliminate the pain of migraine by
correcting the cause of the pain, not just hide the symp-
toms with an application of "temporary relie' pain kil-
lers.
