"ART FAIR '87" Temple Is-
rael Sisterhood's annual art
fair will begin March 7 with a
champagne preview for
patrons only, payable in ad-
vance. The party will begin

begin at 8 p.m. Those attend-
ing will meet all the participat-
ing artists.
On March 8, the fair will be
open to the public from 11 a.m.
to 5 p.m. featuring a talk at 1
p.m. by Barbara Mazer, co-
ordinator and wardrobe con-
sultant, speaking on "A Closet
Full of Clothes, but Nothing to
Wear."
On March 9, the fair will
open to the public from 11 a.m.
to 5 p.m. with a special talk by
Dr. Lawrence Power, speaking
at 1 p.m. on "Diet, Fitness and
Nutrition."
Chairmens are: Rosalie Fox,
ways and means, vice
president; Gloria Shifman,
chairman of the fair. Art
chairmen are Ricki Berlin and
Robin Stearn; booth chairmen
are Debbie Malerman and
Marcia Brown; tickets, Lin
Klein and Francine Piell;
champagne preview chairmen,
Gail Epstein and Rebecca
Jeiris; "Garden of Eatin' " din-
ing room chairman, Sylvia
Weingart; Volunteer callers,
Shirley Plotnik and Dorothy
Collens; publicity chairmen,
Anne Silver; treasurer, Sherri
Tobias; gift shop chairmen,
Elaine Melder and Marilyn
Weisberg; and trifles and trea-
sures chairman, Rose Jacobs.
President of the Temple Is-
rael Sisterhood is Adrienne
Milin. Admission is nominal.
Highlights of the fair will be
the display of art, pottery,
jewelry, glass work, weaving
and boutiques featuring many
hand-crafted items. During the

fair hours, the Temple Israel
Sisterhood will serve
homemade snacks and lunches
in the"Garden of Eatin'. "

Somerset Mall
Scene of Lectures

The Center for New Think-
ing will present a lecture
entitled, "The Competitive
Spirit: How Healthy?" at 2:30
p.m. Sunday in the Somerset
Mall auditorium. There is a

there will be a talk on "The
Secret of the Universe" in the

Look-Alike
Contest At Mall

Channel 50, Tel-12 Mall and
Delta Air Lines will sponsor a
Joan Rivers look-alike contest
2-8 p.m. today at the mall. Con-
testants will be judged on a
first-come, first-serve basis.
Entrants should register at
the mall community room.
