will have its "Dancing for Dol-
lars" fund raiser at 7 p.m.
Saturday in the Landmark
Ballroom of the Omni Interna-
tional Hotel downtown.
Area television and print re-
porters and local athletes will
be on hand to dance with
guests to raise funds for the
club's charitable projects: the
new Variety Club Cardiology
Center at Children's Hospital
of Michigan and the Variety
Club Electronic Limb Re-
search Center, among others.
Marc Ankerman will pro-
vide music, and there will be
prizes. Among the celebrities
who will be on hand are Linda
Solomon and Tom Greenwood
of The Detroit News, Ken Ford
