Wedding Customs

Hand-made gifts are
always appreciated. If your
talents lend themselves to
the tasks, consider giving a
decorative crewel-worked
pillow, a hand-embroidered
tablecloth or a cozy afghan
in the couple's favorite
colors. A framed copy of
the wedding invitation
printed in calligraphy and
decorated with spray of
dried flowers would make a
cherished addition to any
home.

avingstocked the kit-
chen with useful ap-
pliances and cookware, you
should turn your attention
toward utilizing them in
food preparation.
Here are some hints to
save time in the kitchen.
Buy a freezer to stock up
on meats and other pro-
ducts, especially when they
are selling at low prices.
Prepare enough menus
for a full month, and shop
on the basis of those.
Keep an ongoing grocery
list, place it in an obvious
spot, and remember to take
it to the store.
