Farmington To Host
Chanukah Party

The Farmington Commu-
nity Center will host a
Chanukah celebration at 6
p.m., Dec. 29. Barbara Can-
tor, parent-toddler instructor
at the Jewish Community
Center, will explain the spirit
of the "Festival of Lights"
and will cook latkes (potato
pancakes). Other events .will
include games, songs and a
Chanukah play.

Class In Oak Park

The department of recrea-
tion, city of Oak Park, is tak-
ing registration for a pre-
school, large muscle activity
program, beginning 10:30
a.m. Jan. 14.
Among the activities
planned are tumbling, acro-
batics, games and rhythmic
