David Ben-Dov, consul
general of Israel, will speak
on "Terrorism — A Quest for
Peace in the Middle East," 8
p.m. Wednesday, at the
Maple/Drake Jewish Corn-
munity Center. The event is
sponsored by the Detroit
Alumni Chapter of Alpha
Omega dental fraternity.
Ben-Dov served as consul
general of Israel for the
Pacific Northwest and the
Commonwealth of Australia
before assuming his current
position in Philadelphia, Pa.
Ben-Dov has held the post
of director of the human
rights and international
organizations division of the
Israel Foreign Ministry.
Prior to joining the foreign
service, he worked as news
editor and commentator with
Kol Israel, the Israel Broad-
casting Servi"ce.
The public is invited at no
