sistance machines, running
tracks and swimming pools.
Social activities in these
clubs are usually great.
Rather than choosing an
exercise studio close to home
or business, single exercisers
may choose a place more con-
ducive to meeting that spe-
cial person. Tennis, racquet-
ball, volleyball and other
team sports are sociable, but
will not realize fitness goals.
While swimming, jogging,
walking are excellent for
realizing health goals, they
are not as conducive to meet-
ing others.
Considerations like uncom-
plicated parking are very im-
portant. Remember, this is at
least a thrice weekly routine.
Shop around and try out
different locations. Consider
the cleanliness, friendliness
and professionalism of the
atmosphere and staff. Sociali-
zation in a healthy atmos-
phere is much better than
bars!
