Twinning Slated
At Adat Shalom

Jeremy Michaelson will
twin the observance of his
bar mitzvah celebration at
Adat Shalom Synagogue at 9
a.m. Saturday with Mark
Buzharsky of Moldavian,
USSR.
Mark's father, Isaac, is a
locksmith and his mother,
Ada, was an annountant but
lost her job soon after apply-
ing for a visa. She has not
been able to find any other
kind of work.
Buzharsky wishes to be re-
united with his aunt in Is-
rael. He was refused on the
grounds of "regime considera-
tions" — army service which
is seen as just one more in-
stance of official harassment
since his tour of duty with
the army was completed in
December 1970.
Jeremy has written to
Mark and will attempt to
contact the family by phone.
