Former President Gerald
Ford will join the Detroit
Jewish community in celeb-
rating the 72nd anniversary
of Yeshivath Beth Yehudah's
founding when he addresses
the school's annual dinner at
the Fairlane Manor in Dear-
born on Nov. 23.
,Local businessmen and
community leaders Ivan
Bloch, David Holtzman,
Spencer Partrich, Mickey
Shapiro and I. William Sherr,
will serve as dinner co-
chairmen. In addition, Harold
Beznos will serve as tribute
committee chairman for the
17th Annual Golden Torah
Award to be presented that
evening to his brother, Nor-
man Beznos.

The yeshivah is open to
any Jewish student, regard-
less of religious affiliation,
financial or ethnic back-
ground. During the waves of
immigration in each decade
since the -end of World War
II, Beth Yehudah has ac-
cepted every Jewish boy or
girl.

With enrollment reaching
its highest levels and expand-
ing programs, the yeshivah
counts on the proceeds of this
annual dinner to help relieve
the increasing financial pres-
sure.

by calling the school's office,

hours.
