since its founding in 1969
and has established abortion
service facilities in both
Bangladesh and Bogata, Col-
ombia.
A graduate of St. Luke's
Hospital School of Nursing in
St. Louis, she received the
Ruth Muse Award for Excel-
lence in Pediatric Nursing.
She has also earned a B.A.
degree in sociology.
Widdicombe's other awards
include the 1978 Reproduct-
ive Freedom Award from the
St. Louis Freedom of Choice
Council, the Jacksonville
Clergy Consultation Service's
Human Services Award, and
the 1985 Hannah B. Solomon
Founder's Award from the St.
Louis Section, N.C.J.W.
