rabbinical studies at the He-
brew Theological College of
Chicago. Rabbi Groner then
earned a degree in graduate
-studies at the University of
Chicago. They married in
i954 and Mrs. Groner accom-
panied her husband to his
first pulpit in Little Rock,
- Ark.
As a member of Shaarey
Zedek, she lends her talent to
) musical programming for
confirmation classes, the sis-
/-terhood and other affiliates
within the synagogue, as well
j as accompanying the Sister-
hood Chorale.
In addition to her partici-
pation in synagogue activi-
ties, Mrs. Groner's communal
_ activities include membership
in the Israel Bond Women's
Division, the Jewish Welfare
Federation Women's Division,
Hadassah, the National
Council of Jewish Women
and the Michigan Branch of
Women's League for Conser-
vative Judaism.
