Sigmunt Rubin has been
named dinner chairman for
the Michigan Branch,
Friends of the Israel Cancer
Association's seventh annual
dinner-dance.
The affair, to be held in
conjunction with the newly
formed Hanoar Chapter, will
take place Sept. 21 at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Yarsike will be the
honorees.
Rubin said help for Israel
cancer patients is being
sought abroad to help con-
tinue the high quality of care
they are currently receiving
in light of Israel's economic
crisis.
Funds raised at the dinner
will go for acquiring new
equipment for patient care.
Zoltan Rubin is president
of the Michigan Branch. As-
sisting the dinner chairman
are: Mrs. Agi Rubin, co-
chairman; and dinner com-
mittee: Max Drew, Dr. Ar-
thur Feuer, Henry Kupfer
and Barbara Weintraub.
For tickets, call Alex
Greenberger, 646-0983; or
co-chairman, Mary Papo,
967-4414.
