honor member Sheldon Miller
at its State of Israel Bonds
Tribute Dinner, 6 p.m. Sept.
11, in the synagogue's social
hall.
Miller is a member of the
Metro Detroit Israel Bonds
executive board and co-
chairman of the Israel Bonds
attorneys division.
He was born in Detroit and
attended Central High School
and Wayne State University,
where he earned his law de-
gree. He also served in the
U.S. Army from 1954 to
1956.
Miller is a founder of Trial
Lawyers for Public Justice; a
trustee of the Melvin Belli
Society and a member of the
Executive Committee, Wayne
State Law Alumni Associa-
tion.
Active with the Assoocia-
tion of Trial Lawyers of
America, he has been a
member of its Executive
Committee since 1982 and
served as the Association's
vice-president 1984-1985.
Also active with the Michi-
gan Trial Lawyers Associa-
tion, he served as its
president during 1975-1976
and was president of the
MTLA Detroit Chapter in
1970.
