At Bar-Ilan Reception

raeli media specialist, lecturer
and journalist, will speak at a
cocktail reception to be held
Tuesday in the home of Audrey
and William Farber, an-
nounced Donald Fox and Paul
Zlotoff, general chairmen.
The reception is being held
in advance of the Bar-Ilan
Dinner to be held Sept. 9, at
which Sister Carol Rittner and
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Friedman
will be honored. The emphasis

Nursery Begins
New Program

the age of 15. In World War II,
he served in the regiments or-
ganized by the Jewish Agency
in cooperation with the British
government. He fought in Is-
rael's War of Independence and
achieved the rank of captain in
Israel's Defense Forces.

Shaarey Zedek Beth
Hayeled Nursery School will
begin a new program called
Terrific Two's Day next month.
This is a class for children ages
2-21/2. It will meet on Tuesdays
at 9:45 a.m. Children will come
by themselves to play, sing,
snack and learn to be part of a
peer group. The class is limited
to 12 children and will be
supervised by three adults.
In addition, Shaarey Zedek
offers parent/toddler classes on
Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday mornings which are
taught by Janet Pont, director
of the nursery.
There are still openings in
some regular programs as well
as enrichment classes for 4-
and 5-year-olds, even if they do
not attend the Shaarey Zedek
nursery school. A lunch pro-
gram for morning and after-
noon students plus extended
day care from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
also is available.
