76, former Detroiter of Los
Angeles, Calif., died July 9. He
leaves two sons, James of Santa
Monica, Calif., and Michael of
Toronto, Ont.; two brothers, Abe
of Pompano Beach, Fla., and
William of Glendale, Calif.; a
sister, Mrs. Sadie Bosin of
Southfield; and one grandson.
Interment Detroit.
SAMUEL FEINBERG, 71, of
Southfield, died July 13. Sur-
vived by his wife, Sydelle; two
sons, Chaim of Albany, N.Y.,
and Ronald M.; a brother, Dr.
Frank Dickman
Frank Dickman, a building
contractor, died July 14 at age
77.
Born in New York, Mr.
Dickman lived 75 years in De-
troit. He was the co-founder in
1925 of Samuel Dickman and
Son, Inc. He was retired for 12
years. Mr. Dickman was a
member of Temple Israel, Tam
O'Shanter Country Club, Perfec-
tion Lodge of the Masons, the
Moslem Shrine and was the past
president of the Detroit Associa-
tion of Wall and Ceiling Con-
tractors.
He leaves his wife, Priscilla; a
son, Robert; two sisters, Mrs.
Kathryn Saperstein and Mrs.
Marcia
Katz;
and
five
grandsons.

Herbert Brandwine
Herbert S. Brandwine, a sales
representative for Vesco Oil Co.,
died July 11 at age 70.
Born in New York, Mr.
Brandwine lived in Detroit for
69 years. He was a member of
Cong. B'nai David for 30 years,
the Lt. Roy Green Post of the
Jewish War Veterans, Tikvah
Lodge of B'nai B'rith and the
Detroit Oilmen's Club.
He is survived by his wife,
Eleanor; a son, Jeffrey of Buf-
falo, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs.
Robert (Ilene) Arnold; a brother,
Morris; and one grandson.
Nissim Elnecave
New York (JTA) — Nissim
Elnecave, editor emeritus of the
Argentine Jewish newspaper La
Luz and a leader of the Sephar-
dic community of Latin
America, died July 13. He was
75.
Mr. Elnecave was also fouon-
der of FESELA, the Federation
Sefardi Latinoamericana, the
organization of Sephardim in
Latin America, and was author
of several books, not only on
Sephardic Jews but also on
Jewish-Christian relations and
on anti-Semitism.
