The annual meeting of the
Fresh Air Society board of direc-
tors will take place on Aug. 10 at
the Nathan Silverman Pavilion at
Silverman Village (Camp Maas)
at 2 p.m.
Renominated as officers for a
one year-term are: President, Dr.
Richard Krugel; Vice President,
Richard Komer; Treasurer,
Charles L. Schiff; Secretary,
Dorene Finer.
. Renominated for a second
three-year term as board mem-
bers are: Dorene Finer, Dr. Darryl
T. Goldberg, Nancy Jacobson.
Nominated for a new three-year
term are Jeffrey Aizen, Dr. O.W.
Brown, Henry Gornbein, Mar-
shall Hersh, Diane Klein, Lynn
Medow, Rabbi David Nelson,
Susan Zaks. Nominated to fill a
vacant one-year term is Ann Cha-
pin.
The meeting will include pre-
sentations by Camp Maas cam-
pers. Mrs. Harlene Appelman will
speak on the new Jewish Family
Life Education project under-
taken by the agency, and Dr.
Krugel and Stephen L. Makoff,
executive director, will present
their year-end reports.
The community is invited. To
reach Silverman Village from De-
troit, drive north on 1-75 to Exit
101, follow Grange Hall Road
east, past Sheriff's Department to
Barron Road. Turn left on Barron
Road for 1 1/2 miles to Perryville
Road. Turn right on Perryville
Road, continue past the two Camp
Maas entrances to the Silverman
Village entrance on the right,
focus of this year's Bond leader-
ship meeting.
Major conference events will
include training workshops deal-
ing with the Bond Organization's
various financial instruments; a
campaign report by the President
of Israel bonds, Brig. Gen. (Res.)
Yehudah Halevy; addresses by
major Israeli and American polit-
ical personalities; and meetings of
the Women's and New Leadership
Divisions.

Offered In Voice
Michigan Opera Theatre, in
cooperation with the Detroit
Council for the Arts, will present
a six-week series of master classes
collectively entitled "Masters Re-
sidency Program in Classical
Vocal . Performance."
Now in its third year, the pro-
gram is designed to benefit sin-
gers ages 16 to 21 who are in-
terested in developing their vocal
performance talents. Classes will
be held at the Michigan Opera
Theatre administrative offices in
Detroit from Monday through
Aug. 14.

Detroiters Attend
Bond Parley
Detroit Israel Bond leaders will
attend the Bond Organization's
1986 National Leadership Con-
ference which will be hosted by
Baltimore's Jewish community
Sept. 10-14 at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel there.
The local participants will join
about 300 Jewish leaders from the
United States and Canada at the
four-day conference.
