Prof. Todd Endelman, who is
a specialist in Jewish studies,
will be the guest speaker at the
annual luncheon of the Jewish
Historical Society of Michigan
on June 1 at noon at Cong. Beth
Achim.
Prof. Endelman was an assis-
tant professor of Jewish studies
at the Bernard Revel Graduate
School of Yeshiva University
and associate professor of his-
tory and Jewish studies at In-
diana University in
Bloomington. He is currently
professor at University of
Michigan.
He is the author of the Jews
of Georgian England 1714-1830
- Tradition and Change in a
Liberal Society which won the
National Jewish Book Award for
history.
Prof. Endelman was an assis-
