The Jewish Community Cen-
ter and the Baia Chabad centers
of West Bloomfield and Far-
mington Hills are setting up a
•Matzah Factory at the main
Jewish • Community Center
starting Sunday, and running
daily except Saturday until
April 15.
Visitors will receive a baker's
hat, a piece of "shmurah" mat-
zah and a pamphlet describing
the celebration of Passover and
the reasons for the holiday
foods. Each participant will
make their own piece of matzah,
from the mixing of the flour and
water to seeing it put in the
oven. A film or filmstrip, accord-
ing to the age of the group, will
be shown describing how the un-
leaven matzahs are made at a
real "shmurah" bakery.
Reservations are required and
there is a nominal charge. For

Hillel Day' School's eighth
grade will participate in a 40-
hour marathon beginning after
Shabbai on Saturday until
Monday afternoon shortly before
the end of the school day.
The students will engage in a
multi-activity experience that
will include continual rounds of
basketball alternating with the
same in volleyball.
The students will donate part
of the money raised through
pledges to the Hillel Scholarship
Fund. The students also will
work on their .social action proj-
ect which will be a letter-
writing campaign on behalf of
the Soviet refuseniks.
The Hillel Alumni Organiza-
tion has planned a mini-reunion
from 2-4- p.m. Sunday at the
school during the marathon. All
alumni are invited. Refresh-
ments will be served. Call Mrs.
Charlotte Tessler, 851-5017, for
details.

Eighth grade advisers Mrs.
