The latest word on the streets
is crop tops, cut to display
Madonna midriffs. And while
there has been a rumor out
concerning the return of
bell-bottomed jeans, Lois Rubin,
co-owner of Ingenue in
Applegate Square, says it's not
catching on.
"Just try to sell them! Teens
won't buy them. They want the
straight-leg, fitted jeans." Rubin
added that Jam shorts and
bicycle shorts are hot sellers for
the hot days of summer. "And
skin-tight pants without stirrups,
called leggings, are hot. But
stirrip pants are definitely out."
