Mrs. Esther Pessin of South-

daughter, Renee Iris, to Bart
Jeffrey Vinik, son of Mr. and
Mrs. David Vinik of North
Woodmere, N.Y.
Ms. Pessin, daughter of the
late Dr. Louis S. Pessin, earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree in in-
ternational relations with a
minor in economics at Michigan
State University. She is a
graduate of General Electric
Co.'s financial management pro-
gram and is employed as super-
visor of billing and receivables
in Wilmington, Mass.
Her fiance earned a Bachelor
of Science degree in economics
at the Wharton School of Fi-
nance and Commerce of the
University of Pennsylvania and
a Juris Doctor degree at Boston
University. He is a partner in
the law firm of Vinik and Loew
in Newton, Mass.
