Music on Tapes

Cong. B'nai David has made
available two stereo cassettes
containing Sabbath, festival and
High Holiday music.
The songs and prayers sung
on the tapes were recorded by
the synagogue's cantor, Hyman
J. Adler, accompanied by the
B'nai David Choir, under the di-
' rection of Eugene Zweig.
The music used on the tapes
was culled from cantorial lib-
raries purchased by the
synagogue from retired cantors.
Among the selections are
Sabbath and festival prayers,
High Holiday prayers, Lochel
Baruch, Modim, Blessing of the
New Month, Hallel, Kaddish,
Kol Nidre, V'Chol Maaminim
and Olenu.
Proceeds from the sale of the
tapes will buy prayerbooks and
be used for cemetery mainte-
nance. Purchases are tax de-
ductible.
Max Sosin and Mel Richman
are co-chairmen of the recording
project.
For information, call the
synagogue, 557-8210.
